Backround
Fugaku Uchiha was the father of Sasuke Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha, and the husband of Mikoto Uchiha. He was the captain of the Konoha Military Police. He strongly believed that Itachi was the clan's future, and did all in his power to help achieve this goal. As a result he often neglected Sasuke, though Itachi did manage to force them together from time to time, such as by saying that he would neglect his duties to be there for Sasuke. Once Itachi began to distance himself from the clan, he and Fugaku apparently had a falling out and as a result Fugaku began to spend more time with Sasuke, coming to consider him the pride of the clan. After training Sasuke in the Uchiha clan's more basic jutsu, he instructed his youngest son not to follow in Itachi's footsteps. He was later killed by Itachi.
